Create Volunteer Profile

Please read carefully:

Volunteers are required to create a volunteer profile through the FBRGV website prior to volunteering.
Volunteers must wear an ID badge or yellow vest at all times.
Volunteers are responsible for keeping track of their hours. It is not the responsibility of the Food Bank RGV to maintain record of any hours worked/ volunteered after documentation has been issued or after the volunteer has been inactive for 90 days.
You agree to follow the FBRGV Dress Code:
1. No spaghetti strap tops, cut offs that show midriff area, leggings, transparent material, inappropriate t-shirts/caps/etc.
2. No shorts/skirts two inches or more above the knee.
3. Only close-toe shoes are permitted; high heels are not permitted.
Lock your vehicle at all times. Do not leave any items visible.
No food, drinks (except water bottles), use of headphones or cellphones allowed in the warehouse.
Please stay home if you are sick or have a transferable illness.
The Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley, Inc. is a smoke free facility. Volunteers will be asked to leave the premises, if they violate this regulation.
Aggressive behavior, foul language, or refusing to complete any tasks will not be permitted or tolerated!

Volunteer Release of Liability Agreement and Media Release Consent

I hereby agree to conform to the policies and procedures of the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley Inc., to the best of my ability. I further agree to participate in orientation and training. I understand that taking any article from the FBRGV warehouse without permission is a very serious matter and is cause for dismissal or criminal charges.

I hereby assume all risks and hazards incidental to such volunteer participation and to hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify, and agree to hold harmless the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley Inc., its officers and employees, or any other individuals, firm or organization resulting in whole, or part, from participating in the program.

I also hereby certify that I freely and voluntarily consent to be photographed and/or any production studios working for or on behalf of the FBRGV. I further certify and grant full permission to any and all of the foregoing, to use any photograph, video tapes, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record, for any legitimate purpose.

This Volunteer Release of Liability Agreement and Media Release Consent Form shall be binding on my heirs and/or assigns, administrators and legatees.
